Small Business is our Business

Business travellers are a content lot.  Ninety-two percent(92%) are satisfied with the amount of travelling they do.   Marriott’s Fairfield Inn & Suites recently conducted a survey of 1,000 business travelers who were on the road more than three times annually and spent   atleast 22 nights in a hotel.

Reasons business travelers enjoy the road include:

*Experiencing new places      68%

*Meeting new people    54%

*Going out to eat    52%

*Earning mileage or loyalty points   47%

*Trying new foods     38%

*Not going to the office    36%

*Spending time alone    29%

One-half (50%) of these business travellers say the most difficult part of travelling  is missing family or a “significant other”. Other  pitfalls mentioned include:  sleeping poorly, not maintaining fitness regimes, and no home cooked meals.

Eighty percent(80%) say business travel makes them more successful at work and more prepared in life.
