While on vacation many Americans have trouble unplugging from the workplace. Twenty-nine percent(29%) constantly check work email and voice mail, while twenty-one percent(21%) skip exciting plans to get business done. These are a few of the findings from the Best Western Vacation Survey conducted by Wakefield Research of 500 U.S. travellers in February 2013. More than one-half of travellers anticipate leaving unused vacation days in 2013. Reasons for not taking a vacation include money(33%) and “too much work” (16%).
