Employers are  looking beyond  technical  skills and education when hiring.  Personality is now playing a greater role. Eighty-eight percent(88%) of employers  are looking for a “cultural fit“. A 2013  survey conducted  by Universum, a Stockholm branding company that annually surveys over 400,000 students and professionals worldwide on jobs-related issues, found professionalism (86%), high-energy (78%), and confidence (61%) are the top three traits employers look for in new hires.Other traits include:  self-monitoring (58%), intellectual curiosity (57%), authenticity(48%), and conscientiousness(48%).
