HOW MANY BAD EXPERIENCES DOES IT TAKE YOU TO STOP SHOPPING AT A STORE?

A survey of 2,046 shoppers conducted in December 2013 found shoppers are NOT forgiving when it comes to a bad experience in a store. Kronos, an online management company specializing in labor costs, compliance, and payroll, found one-third of shoppers (32%) would stop patronizing a store after TWO bad experiences.  Other results–

*One bad experience                         13%

*Two bad experiences                       32%

*Three bad experiences                    18%

*Four or more bad experiences       12%

*I’d never stop shopping there      25%

 

EMAIL ETIQUETTE MATTERS

A survey conducted online by Harris Interactive  found sixty-five percent (65%) of employees are ticked off by email behavior exhibited by  coworkers.  The most annoying email habits include—–

*Using reply-all when unnecessary      36%

*Mass emails not relevant to them         33%

*Sending too long/detailed emails        22%

This survey was conducted in November 2013 among 2,000 adults for Jive Software, an online marketing company.

 

 

 

 

 

 

SMARTPHONES FOR PAYING BILLS

The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) recently conducted a survey of 1,046 adults and found that one-half(50%) of U.S. smartphone owners make payments on their mobile.  An age break down reveals—-

*Age 18-29         58%

*Age 30-44         60%

*Age 45-60         48%

60& older            24%

Ninety-two percent(92%) indicate ease of use as the greatest benefit.  Mobile transactions over $50.00 were the most common.    Seventy-eight percent(78%)  cite  SECURITY  as a major concern.
