Maintaining  a company website takes time and money.   A Small Business Administration Technology survey revealed these challenges—–

 

Time it takes to update                                 64%

Site costs                                                          26%

Finding reliable website help                       21%

Security issues                                                 15%

Response time from external IT support    9%

 

This was a multiple response survey  conducted by the SBA in 2013.

MR.MOM ON THE RISE

Nearly 2 million fathers are stay- at- home Dad’s according to the most recent U.S. Census data.  A far cry from the 1.1. million in 1989.  These stay-at-home fathers tend to be older than stay-at-home moms.  The majority are 35 years or older.  The reason for this increase is varied.

INCREASING THE MINIMUM WAGE

A recent survey of 489 small business owners conducted by the  Rocket Lawyer Legal Index asked  how an increase in the minimum wage would affect their business. The results———

*Decrease  in hiring                                    18%

*Employee layoffs                                       7%

*Increase in hiring                                      4%
